Netizens Blast Allu Arjun As Allu Cinemas Fails To Add Legendary Directors To “Wall Of Greats”
Allu Arjun received criticism after launching Allu Cinemas in Hyderabad recently.
Allu Arjun’s Allu Cinemas saw a grand launch in Hyderabad’s Kokapet on March 12. However, rather than celebrating the same, many fans were left disappointed for a particular reason. The cinema hall consists of filmmakers on the “Wall of Greats.” Many pointed out that legendary and iconic directors, who shaped the film industry, were not included in it. Allu Cinemas Critised Over “Wall Of Greats”
After a video showcasing the interiors of Allu Cinema was posted online, people got to see the “Wall of Greats” in the hallway that includes multiple directors. Pictures of Sukumar, Atlee, SS Rajamouli, Mani Ratnam, Rishab Shetty, Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Trivikram Srinivas, Rajkumar Hirani, Sandeep Reddy Vanga and more were included. People soon pointed out on several social media platforms that many legendary filmmakers’ pictures were missing.
A person on X straight up asked where Ram Gopal Verma’s picture was. Another shared a post writing that V.V Vinayak and Puri Jagannath should have made it on that wall. A user shared, “Atlee is there but Shankar is not there,” while another wrote that it was unacceptable that Shankar was not included in the list. Praising the filmmaker, they wrote that he was instrumental in taking Indian cinema to the next level.

More About The Launch
During the launch of Allu Cinemas, Allu Arjun, along with his family, graced the event. The actor was joined by his wife, Sneha, father, Allu Aravind, brother, Allu Sirish and sister-in-law Nayanika Reddy. The launch took place after the family wrapped up Sirish and Nayanika’s wedding festivities, which were attended by many A-list celebrities!
Currently, Allu Arjun is busy filming his upcoming project AA22xA6 alongside Deepika Padukone.
