Recently, Kevin shared her 2025 dating summary video. In the video, she said that she went on a date with someone from the new season of Singles Inferno. Since Samuel lives in New York and is on the show, people connected the dots and quickly guessed it was him. Kevin further added that the guy might have just wanted attention or to “pick my brain”.

Later, Samuel Lee posted on his social media account (now deleted) that it was only a friendly meal, not a date. He said Kevin changed the story to make content and get views. Samuel Lee accused her of lying for attention and said such behaviour was wrong and could cause problems. After that, he removed the post and soon deleted his whole account.
The story became intense when people remembered past rumours about the dating show contestant. Before the show, he was openly dating influencer Hena Yang. Hence, many fans knew him. However, things took a turn when some videos and pictures from the past made rounds online. Following which, many people accused Samuel Lee of cheating on Hena Yang while they were dating.
However, the dating show contestant denied the cheating claims and also talked about taking legal action over the false rumours before removing his account.
