Recently, NCT’s Jaehyun shared several beautiful photos on Instagram of himself having fun by the ocean. One video showed him jumping into the water with a girl, which quickly caught fans’ attention. Another photo of two swans led many to believe he had softly introduced a new relationship. The posts created strong online speculation and discussions among fans.

However, Jaehyun soon cleared the air. He left a straightforward comment on his post and said that she is his cousin. His producer friend also stepped in. The friend wrote that the girl in the pictures was actually Jaehyun’s cousin. He shared that Jaehyun had simply wanted to post happy memories from his time off despite his busy schedule.
Following which, many fans felt sorry for Jaehyun and criticised how quickly dating rumours make rounds without being fact-checked. They pointed out that people should be more careful before jumping to conclusions, especially since the K-pop idol had just returned from military duty and was trying to reconnect with normal life.
