The prestigious National Film Awards 2025 were presented to the winners on Tuesday, September 23. The winners received the honour from India’s President Droupadi Murmu. In this list was actor Rani Mukerji, who won the Best Female Actor category for her film Mrs Chatterjee Vs. Norway. Rani Mukerji looked stunning on this special, and while her daughter did not accompany her for the awards, the actor made sure that she was still with her in some way. Read here for more.

Rani Mukerji At The National Film Awards 2025

Rani Mukerji attended the prestigious ceremony held in New Delhi. For this ceremony, the actor opted for a gold saree and a stunning neckpiece. She left her hair open and went for a very bronzed minimal makeup look. However, we could not help notice the exquisite piece of jewellery that she wore and it stood out in this look. It was a gold chain with her daughter Adira’s initials on it. Through this, the actor made sure that her daughter was present with her while she received one of the most important awards in her acting career.

Rani Mukerji’s film Mrs Chatterjee Vs. Norway was a film inspired by real life events when a mother went to great lengths to get her child back after the Norwegian authorities had taken her away on alleged violation of parenting rules.
