Vishal Bhardwaj On Nana Patekar Leaving O’Romeo Trailer Launch
According to multiple media reports, Nana Patekar left the O’Romeo trailer launch event early after waiting for almost an hour for the event to start. Firm on his decision not to wait any longer, the veteran actor simply chose to exit the venue. The said event was held at Juhu, Mumbai.
This incident was addressed by the film’s director Vishal Bhardwaj during the trailer launch. He referred to Nana Patekar by giving an example of a class bully who also entertains, yet everyone wants to be around him. The filmhelmer added that his friendship with the Welcome star is 27 years old but they are working together for the first time. Vishal Bhardwaj also mentioned that if Nana Patekar were there, it would have been fun. He added that in Nana Patekar’s signature style, he said that they made him wait for an hour, so he was leaving. The filmmaker added that they did not say anything to him because this is what makes him Nana Patekar!
