Social media star Orhan Awatramani, also known as Orry, has been asked to appear before the Anti-Narcotics Cell on Wednesday, 19 November, for questioning by the Mumbai police. Mumbai Police Summons Orry For Questioning
ANI reported that Orry, whose real name is Orhan Awatramani, has been asked to appear before the Anti-Narcotics Cell’s Ghatkopar unit at 10 am on Thursday for questioning by the Mumbai police. The case pertains to a March 2024 drug case where the police seized 126.14 kg of mephedrone, which is commonly known as ‘MD’, that was valued to be 252 rupees at a mephedrone-manufacturing facility on a farm in Sangli district.
Mumbai police arrested Mohammed Salim Mohammed Suhail Shaikh after he was deported last month from Dubai. In his confession to the police, Suhail Shaikh revealed that he organised multiple rave parties across India and abroad. Many celebrities, social media influencers and politicians were in attendance at these parties.
Shaikh is a close aide of the drug kingpin Salim Dol, who is one of the main members of Dawood Ibrahim’s gang. The Anti-Narcotics Cell of the Mumbai Crime Branch informed that the parties were allegedly attended by Dawood Ibrahim’s late sister’s son Alishah, actors Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor and her brother Siddharth Kapoor.
Film producers Abbas-Mustan and a few other celebs, including rapper Loka, Orry, and NCP politician Zeeshan Siddique, were allegedly present at the parties, according to the police’s remand application before a Mumbai court.
Orry, whose real name is Orhan Awatramani, is a socialite and social media influencer is well-known for his strong connections to high-profile personalities. Famous star kids like Jahnvi Kapoor, Ananya Pandey and Shanaya Kapoor often feature on his Instagram. His special appearances on reality shows like Bigg Boss 17, his viral images with other celebrities, and his active social life have all contributed to his rise to popularity.
