Mumbai Police On High Alert After Salman Khan Receives 5 Crore Extortion Threat. Scary Times Ahead!
This threat follows the assassination of Baba Siddique on October 12, who was gunned down outside his son’s office in Bandra!

In a recent development, Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has reportedly received a threatening message demanding ₹5 crore, according to the Mumbai Police. The threat, conveyed through a WhatsApp message to a Mumbai Traffic Police number, warned that if the actor did not comply, he would face a fate worse than the one that befell former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique. This has triggered a heightened sense of alert and urgency within the law enforcement agencies.
The chilling message, which surfaced a day after the arrest of a Lawrence Bishnoi gang member in Haryana, demanded that Salman Khan pay the ransom to avoid further violence. The sender insisted that if the actor wished to remain safe and resolve his ongoing feud with Lawrence Bishnoi, he must comply. Otherwise, the message warned, he would face dire consequences.
The police have already initiated an investigation into the matter. This threat follows the assassination of Baba Siddique on October 12, who was gunned down outside his son’s office in Bandra, a high-profile area in Mumbai. Siddique’s murder was believed to be politically motivated, and the police have made multiple arrests, including those of Haryana resident Gurmail Baljit Singh and Dharmaraj Rajesh Kashyap from Uttar Pradesh. The police are examining possible connections between Siddique’s killing and the threat against Khan, given the proximity in timing and the alleged involvement of the same criminal network.
Adding to the complexity of the case, a suspect identified as Sukha alias Sukhbir Balbir Singh was recently apprehended by Navi Mumbai police from Panipat, Haryana. The suspect, reportedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, is believed to have been involved in a plot to assassinate Salman Khan. Authorities revealed that Singh had been in contact with his handler, known as Dogar, based in Pakistan. The investigation suggests the gang planned to use sophisticated weaponry from Pakistan, including AK-47s and M16s, to carry out the attack.
This isn’t the first time Salman Khan has been targeted. Earlier this year, the Navi Mumbai police registered a case against members of the Bishnoi gang for allegedly conspiring to kill the actor. Following a firing incident outside his Bandra residence, police arrested several suspects tied to the gang, including gang leaders Lawrence Bishnoi and Sampat Nehra. They uncovered plans to ambush Khan on his way to his Panvel farmhouse and during his film shoots. It was also revealed that minors were being recruited and armed for the plot.
Authorities continue to investigate these incidents, intensifying efforts to protect the actor. With rising threats, police are ramping up security around Khan’s residence and monitoring his movements to ensure his safety.
