Bollywood actor Mrunal Thakur has been making headlines about her personal life for quite a while. And amid swirling rumours, she opened up about insecurities, relationships and more during her recent appearance on Raunaq Rajani’s YouTube channel. During the chat, she revealed that her ex-boyfriend became insecure when she was shooting for Super 30 along with Hrithik Roshan. Read to know what happened next here.

What Mrunal Thakur Said

Recalling the incident, Mrunal Thakur said, “So this guy, who was a Scandinavian, he thought that I was hanging around and shooting with a lot of good-looking men, like Hrithik Roshan. So he started working out, lost like 15-17 kgs, and he got muscles.” But after this, the actress found this out when her ex stopped working out and gained 20 kgs, claiming that he was ‘tired of catching up.’

Thakur then clarified that this was never influenced by her because she never asked him to lose weight, but his own insecurtity of her hanging around with good-looking men. The actress also confessed that while she felt insecure in relationships, she preferred addressing issues openly rather than letting them grow inside. In recent events, Mrunal has been openly linked with Dhanush.

Dismissing these claims, she told Galatta Plus that she was not marrying Dhanush on Valentine’s Day and that she didn’t know who started this rumour. The rumours gathered traction after Dhanush attended a special screening of Son of Sardaar 2, starring Mrunal, and then appeared at Tere Ishk Mein’s triumph party. Mrunal clarified her position, stating that neither she nor Dhanush had confirmed any romantic relationship, and asked people to be wary of deceptive web content.
