She appeared on a popular political YouTube show linked to JTBC. Even before the cameras rolled, hateful comments surfaced on screen. The host gently asked if she noticed how angry people were online. Min Hee Jin answered that she hardly ever reads those comments. Friends tell her about them, but in real life, strangers still stop her on the street for selfies. The huge gap between online hate and offline support confuses her.
When the host directly asked if she ever feels bad for NewJeans and everything they suffered, her reply shocked viewers. She said the ones who should feel sorry are HYBE, not her. Many fans felt this answer showed zero regret. They believe she used the members as shields during the battle and now walks away without caring about their tears.
