Former ADOR CEO and NewJeans’ creative director Min Hee Jin has established her own entertainment agency called OK. This move comes a year after she resigned from ADOR following allegations of orchestrating a coup by the label’s parent company HYBE. Many industry insiders believe that Hee Jin has founded the company to sign NewJeans after the court’s verdict for the group’s exclusive contract with ADOR, expected to be delivered later this month. Former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin Establishes New Entertainment Agency OK CO.
According to the culture and content industry, Min Hee Jin registered her company, OK Co., Ltd, on October 16. It was also reported that celebrity management, music, album production and distribution, etc, have been included in the scope of business of the company.
After her dramatic departure from ADOR, where she was dismissed from the board of directors in November 2024, the establishment of OK marks the first professional move for the former CEO since then. The office for OK Co. is situated in Gangnam, and construction of the building is reportedly nearing completion.
Many netizens, as well as industry people, are curious to see whether Min Hee Jin has established this agency to sign NewJeans. The group is currently embroiled in a legal battle with ADOR over the exclusive rights for their activities. The next ruling in their case is expected to be announced on October 30th. If NewJeans wins the case, then they will freely be able to join Min Hee Jin’s OK company.

HYBE, on the other hand, have already terminated its shareholder contract with Min and filed a separate lawsuit to confirm the termination. The non-compete clause existed within the disputed shareholder agreement, and no additional restrictions were added after the agreement’s cancellation, thereby making it hard to prove that Min Hee Jin has violated any terms.
