Millie Bobby Brown Clarifies Relationship With David Harbour Following Bullying Controversy

Tensions between Stranger Things co-stars Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour were believed to be strained after Bobby reportedly filed a harassment complaint against her on-screen father before filming for season 5 began. Earlier this month, a report went viral that suggested Millie had accused David of bullying. Millie Bobby Brown Addresses Controversy About David Harbour
Despite the report of Millie Bobby Brow filing a harassment report against David Harbour, the two looked amicable while posing together on the red carpet for the Stranger Things season 5 premiere. Now, in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Millie opened up about her relationship with the cast of the show.
When asked how important it is for the cast to be a united front, Millie responded by saying that they have been doing that for the past 10 years. “We have always been united in that. We love this show with everything, and we value our friendship more than anything,” stated the actress.
Stranger Things’ makers, the Duffer Brothers, were also recently asked about the allegations. Ross Duffer addressed the situation by saying that he could not get into personal matters on set; however, the cast has become family, and they care deeply about them. So, nothing matters to the brother more than having a set where everyone feels safe and happy.
Executive producer Shawn Levy said that they did everything to create a respectful workplace where everyone feels comfortable and safe when asked about how a bullying complaint is handled on the set.
Stranger Things season 5 will be released in three parts by Netflix. The first five episodes of the highly anticipated season dropped today at 6:30 IST. Episodes 5-7 will drop on December 26th, and the finale will be available to stream on January 1st, 2026, in India.
