After a big controversy with her family, popular singer Miley Cyrus is in the news yet again. An album signing event in London grabbed the attention of the audience for her ignorant behaviour towards her fans. Cyrus was accompanied by model Naomi Campbell and signed the vinyl of her track Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved, from her latest album, Something Beautiful. Here’s what happened.

Miley Cyrus Trolled

The video from the event went viral on the internet, and the Grammy-winning singer was clearly rejecting photo opportunities with her fans. She also paid little attention to those surrounding her when signing the records. The singer’s behaviour prompted indignation among Reddit fans.

After this, Miley was called out brutally online with fans writing, “Excessive self-absorption and Main Character Syndrome,” while another said, “Yeah, that doesn’t look good. Miley, shame on you. She seemed indifferent, and while I’m sure musicians loathe doing things like this because it’s work, your audience is the ones who put you in the position to even be recording and signing CDs.” Fans even shamed her for not acknowledging the people coming to meet her.

Amid the criticism, the singer took to her Instagram and shared pictures with Campbell, who is also featured in the song. She wrote, “@naomi thank you for celebrating the Every Girl You’ve Ever Loved vinyl release day with me. Laughing with you is my favourite. I’ll miss you until we reunite. Love you forever. Thank you to everyone who showed up to the signing. We adored meeting you. If you missed it, get your life & our vinyl that’s available now.”

Cyrus’s new album, Something Beautiful, was released on May 30 and is her eighth studio album. Miley co-produced her songs with Shawn Everett. Furthermore, the album combines pop, rock, soul, disco, funk, and experimental sounds.
