What Did Mika Singh Say?
Singer Mika Singh has strongly objected to Diljit Dosanjh promoting his film with Pakistani actor Hania Aamir amid India-Pakistan tensions. While the singer did not mention his name, Mika Singh wrote that country comes first. He further spoke about the escalated tension between the two countries and added that despite knowing about it, some people were acting irresponsibly. Mika Singh said that artists should think twice before promoting work that involves artists from across the border and uphold the nation’s dignity.
Mika Singh also gave the example of how there was a ban on Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor’s film, and said that some people would still not learn from it. He also claimed a singer who had done a few shows in India, and had disappeared after fans bought tickets, leaving the latter helpless.
On the other hand, Diljit Dosanjh and Hania Aamir’s Sardaar Ji 3 trailer is not available in India.
