After the iconic Life…In A Metro, the sequel Metro…In Dino created much excitement and buzz among the audience. Fans of the film looked forward to what the makers had in the bag for them. Directed by Anurag Basu, the film had a stellar cast of Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Ali Fazal. Here’s what people on X (Previously Twitter) have to say about the film.

Metro…In Dino Twitter Review

Metro…In Dino will follow four couples living in urban locations. The video will explore the complexities, ups and downs of modern relationships for all age groups. While the critics had a mixed reaction towards the film, the people online had some of their own opinions. One user commented, “#MetroInDino hit. Works well, all stories are beautifully written. Music is a big plus. Sara Ali Khan is a major disappointment. Ali Fazal and Neena Gupta shine,” while another said, “At times, you get the feeling: “Yeh toh wahi typical Bollywood story hai” — the kind we’ve already seen many times before. The emotional moments don’t really hit hard, and the characters feel underdeveloped. The film had potential but fails to bring something fresh to the table.”

Many felt that while the film wasn’t terrible, it didn’t have much to offer. While stars like Neena Gupta, Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Ali Fazal were praised, Sara Ali Khan’s limited acting range was the talk of the town. They said, “I just really love Anurag Basu’s films. #MetroInDino was … sumptuous, swelling – at least for its first glorious hour.”
