Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh starrer Mere Husband Ki Biwi directed by Mudassar Aziz have been released in the theatres. The film is a rom-com and it also stars Dinu Morea, Harsh Gujral and Kanwaljit Singh among others. As per some reports, ahead of the film’s release, the Central Board Of Certification (CBFC) had directed three changes in the film which also included the removal of our Prime Minister’s name “Modi Ji” and replaced with another word. What Changes CBFC Directed?
Backed by Jacky Bhagnani’s Puja Films, Mere Husband Ki Biwi is a rom-com that hit the theatres on February 21, Friday. As per some reports, the film was passed by the CBFC after three changes. One of them was removing the name “Modi Ji” from the film and replacing it with the word “The Government”. There were two more changes in the film which were changing ‘Haryanvi’ and the removal of a scene which has a ‘woman hand gesture’. The word ‘Haryanvi’ was changed to ‘Ek Gang’.
Mere Husband Ki Biwi received a ‘UA 13+’ rating from CBFC. The running time of the film is 2 hours 23 minutes and 44 seconds.
Arjun Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Rakul Preet Singh were seen promoting their film in various locations. Just before the film’s release, Arjun Kapoor also expressed his happiness about the journey of shooting this film and finally having the audience view it on the big screen. The actor was also thrilled to have shared the film with his co-stars who also happen to be his good friends.
