Meghan Markle’s List Of Demands For Scrapped Magazine Cover Revealed: ‘Not Even Beyoncé Gets That’
Sources reveal all the crazy demands Meghan Markle made for her now scrapped Vogue cover.

Ever since she married into the Royal family, Meghan Markle has rarely been out of the spotlight. Whether it’s her dramatic royal exit, Netflix projects, or her high-profile public appearances. But another controversy is coming to light about the Duchess of Sussex that is making people raise their eyebrows. Meghan was set to feature on the cover of British Vogue back in 2022; however, due to conflicts and her impossible list of demands, the cover was never published. Here is the full story behind it.
Why Meghan Markle Lost An Opportunity To Feature On A Magazine Cover?
Back in 2022, Meghan was expected to feature prominently in the September issue of British Vogue. The coverage was set to align with her keynote speech at the One Young World Summit in Manchester. Sources say the magazine would have included an extensive feature about Markle and her work, both in the print and digital editions of the magazine.
However, things did not go as planned. According to insiders, Meghan was dropped from the cover, and the opportunity to be on the front cover was passed on to model Linda Evangelista. Disappointed by this move, Meghan pulled out of the entire project. This decision strained her relationship with Edward Enninful, the then-editor-in-chief of British Vogue.
Meghan Markle’s List Of Demands
Things have been brought to light once again as a report by Page Six reveals that everything was not what it seemed to be. Sources said that Meghan allegedly wanted to feature on both British Vogue and US Vogue simultaneously. She also requested editorial control over her feature, something that is rarely granted to any cover star. Details also reveal that Markle wanted to hire her photographer and writer, too. Meghan also did a Zoom call with Vogue’s editor in chief, Anna Wintour, who did not agree to her request. Sources say that not even a celebrity as big as Beyoncé can get all that was on Meghan’s list.

However, there seems to be two sides to this story, as some sources also claim that it was actually Vogue who wanted Markle to feature on their cover. They allegedly had been following her since her royal wedding. Meghan Markle or her team has yet to give a statement on this matter.
