The original dancer beside Bobby Deol is a famous background dancer known as Bhanu Khan. She featured in several hit songs from the 90s. She played the role of a glamorous bartender, matching steps with Deol in the film Gupt. She is the OG woman in the white dress, who Aryan Khan digitally replaced with Mona Singh using VFX. ‘Tere Ishq Mein Naachenge’ (Raja Hindustani, 1996), ‘Gutur Gutur’ (Dalaal, 1993), ‘Ram Kasam Mera Bada Naam Ho Gaya’ (Gumrah, 1993), and ‘Doodh Ban Jaaoongi Malai Ban Jaaoongi’ (Sarhad, 1995) are a few of her most famous performances.
The playback singer of the famous song, Udit Narayan, also expressed his delight at the song getting viral in a chat with HT.
