One of them was ban on the Pakistani artists. This also led to the ban of Vaani Kapoor starrer Abir Gulaal alongside Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. Vaani Kapoor On Abir Gulaal Ban
Mandala Murders star Vaani Kapoor shared her thoughts and team’s feelings on the ban of Abir Gulaal, also starring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan. During an interview with Hindustan Times, Vaani said that their film was never intentioned to hurt anyone’s sentiments and was made with love to spread love. She also added that their film Abir Gulaal was shot in a time when things fine, and there were no problems. The actor further stated that the film’s producers had taken the necessary permissions to shoot the film too.
Vaani Kapoor also added that she and her film’s team understood the nation’s decision during the difficult times and stood by it. Vaani Kapoor also said that they all abided by the law, and kept nation’s sentiment first.

For the unversed, the Pahalgam terror attack in Kashmir killed many innocent tourists. India also retaliated with Operation Sindoor in which the armed forces reportedly destroyed many terrorist camps. During this time, India banned many social media handles of the Pakistani actors in the country, including that of Fawad Khan.
