Mallika Sherawat On Being Referred To As A S*x Symbol
In an exclusive interview with Hauterrfly’s The Male Feminist hosted by Siddhaarth Aalambayan, Mallika Sherawat raised questions about being a s*x symbol. She stated, “What is this s*x symbol? I am a woman. What does it mean? Yes, I am a woman. I enjoy being a woman. Does that make me a s*x symbol? I really want to know what is it.” Furthermore, the host shared that there was no definition of a s*x symbol. Back then, there were songs which s*xualised women and choreographies which showcased vulgar moves. However, there was no reference. Many times there were scenes which portrayed passionate s*x. In addition, Mallika Sherawat talked about cinema.
She said, “That’s life! What does cinema do, it portrays real emotions and life on screen and how would you portray passion on screen? In this age, show two flowers blooming in the name of s*x scenes.” Mallika Sherawat further talked about shooting intimate scenes. She said, “I was not afraid at all! I gave myself to Bhatt Sahab. I am in your hand and mould me like clay. He took great care of me.”
