Mallika Sherawat On Plastic Surgery
In an exclusive interview with Hauterrfly’s The Male Feminist hosted by Siddhaarth Aalambayan, Mallika Sherawat shared her views on plastic surgery. She stated, “I love keeping myself fit. I don’t subscribe to plastic surgery which I see a lot of women getting done nowadays. It breaks my heart. Why? Your self-worth is not tied to a botox injection. These doctors are not gods, they are disfiguring your face. I have been seeing a lot of beautiful women whose face looks disfigured, I’m shocked. I am not judging but it’s very heartbreaking to see. You are injecting these poisonous substances into your body. You never know what would be their side effects in the future. “

Furthermore, the host asked her if she had ever gone under the knife. To which Mallika responded, “I have never and I will never do it! I feel ageing is such a natural process. And for an actress who will you emote on screen? How will you be able to express if your facial features freeze?” Mallika also added that it’s her view and she’s not judging people who get plastic surgery. It only makes her sad that people’s self-worth is tied to an injection.
