Actor Malaika Arora’s father died on Wednesday, September 11,  morning reportedly by suicide. According to reports by Mumbai police, Anil Arora jumped off the building’s terrace. This news shocked everyone as many celebrities and investigators reached the actor’s father’s building quickly. Hours after this news, a shocking update has come. Police officials recorded Malaika Arora’s mother Joyce’s statement describing what happened before the incident.

Police Record Joyce’s Statement

According to sources, Malaika Arora’s mother Joyce said that Anil Arora would routinely sit and read the newspaper on the balcony every morning. She also told the police that even though they were divorced, they had started living together again in the past few months. Talking about the morning before her ex-husband’s death, Arora’s mother informed the police that when she saw Anil Arora’s slippers in the living room, she went to look for him on the balcony. When she couldn’t find him there, she leaned over and saw him below while the building’s watchman was shouting for help.

She added that her ex-husband was not suffering from any illness and that he only had some knee pain. Anil Arora had taken VRS from the Merchant Navy. Meanwhile, the police are there at the building investigating the actor’s death. Many celebrities from Arbaaz Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and Salim Khan to Kim Sharma have arrived at Malaika Arora’s parents’ place to support her during tough times.
