TV’s Golden Couple Mahhi Vij, Jay Bhanushali File For Divorce After 14 Years Of Marriage: Reports

Famous television stars Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij are a fan favourite couple and have been married for fourteen years. But as per recent reports, the couple who got married in 2011 had officially filed for divorce a few months back. Sources told HT that the divorce papers were signed and finalised between July and August 2025. The custody of their three children has also been discussed. Read to know more about the matter here.

Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij have a biological daughter, Tara, who was born in 2009, and two foster children, Rajvir and Khushi, whom they adopted in 2019. A source told the publication, “Much was tried, but nothing changed. Separation happened a long time ago. They filed for divorce a couple of months back.” The custody of their three children has also been decided. Reportedly, there were trust issues between them, which became a major part of the couple’s strained relationship. Their last family post was i Jun 2024, and they were last seen together at their daughter Tara’s Labubu-themed birthday celebrations.

Jay Bhanushali recently uploaded images from a trip with his daughters after the split, while Mahhi Vij moved into a new house with the kids two weeks ago. On October 18, Jay shared a video on Instagram with his daughter, Tara, at Shibuya Crossing in Tokyo. He composed the following poem: “Tokyo drift toh suna hoga now see how father and daughter drift in Shibuya crossing.” Mahhi Vij responded, “Uska bow dekho papa ke sath ghumna aur mummy ke sath ghumna proper bow.” Jay quickly responded: “@mahhivij mom ke sath itna nahi hasti jitna baap ke sath hasti hain.”
