Love And War is one of the many films that is on our must-awaited lists of 2026. The Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial stars Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal, and this collaboration has already created a lot buzz. The film was scheduled to release this year but now some reports suggest otherwise. As per the reports, the film has now been postponed to 2027, and here’s what we know about it. Read on for more.
Love And War Postponed?
Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal starrer Love And War is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. This year, many other films like Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit, and reportedly, even Shah Rukh Khan’s King is also scheduled to release in Christmas this year. And keeping these things in mind, Love And War is reportedly postponed to 2027. As per an exclusive report by Pinkvilla, the sources have shared that the shoot is still pending which has made the makers think about the scheduled timeline. Furthermore, the principal photography of the film is expected to be wrapped by June and considering it is a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film that would include a lot of VFX work for the perfect visuals, a lot of time has to be invested in the post-production as well.
As per the reports, Ranbir Kapoor’s another massive release this year which is Ramayana has also led the makers to rethink the release date. They are keen on giving both the films their deserved attention and therefore are giving enough space between their release dates. Going by the reports, the makers are planning for either a January Republic Day release or a Valentine release in February.
