According to reports, both Song Kang and Kim So Hyun are reviewing the script of White Scandal, based on a webtoon and webnovel of the same name. Written by Moon Chae-ah, the web comic is the story of Ji Eun Seol, a child actor. When the co-star is killed, she gets accused of the crime. Getting ostracised from the industry for something she didn’t do, she ends up working as a road manager.
Eun Seol runs into Dan Yi Hyuk, who was around during the earlier incident. A top actor, Yi Hyuk, happens to be the illegitimate son of a large conglomerate group. To make things easier for himself, he starts a fake relationship with Ji Eun Seol. She wishes for justice for her past self and to achieve her dreams of becoming an actress. Will this unlikely pair bond even as they contractually date each other?
Why Are Song Kang And Kim So Hyun Perfect For This New Drama?
The webtoon was very popular, and fans are very interested in seeing Song Kang and Kim So Hyun actually end up cast in the K-drama. Both actors have had diverse careers, with romantic roles slipping to the top of their lists. Apart from Love Alarm, Kim So Hyun has starred in K-dramas like Goblin, The Tale of Nokdu, and recently, My Lovely Liar. In fact, Kim had her beginnings in child acting, just like Eun Seol from White Scandal. Fans believe she will be the perfect lead of the series.
