Olivia Rodrigo And Louis Partridge Reportedly Part Ways After 2 Years Of Dating

The couple had started dating in 2023.

Pop star Olivia Rodrigo and British actor Louis Partridge reportedly parted ways just about two years after the two began dating. According to The Sun, the two split a few weeks ago, a development that has apparently come as a surprise to many of their friends. Neither Rodrigo nor Partridge has publicly commented on the split so far. Read on to know more. 

Olivia Rodrigo And Louis Patridge Reported To Have Broken Up

“It hasn’t been the easiest few weeks for them, and they decided it’s better to be apart for now,” a source quoted by The Sun said. Rodrigo allegedly looked teary-eyed during a recent holiday party in London hosted by singer Lily Allen. The same insider further reported that Olivia opened up about what had happened with her boyfriend during the party, as friends rallied around her during such a difficult time.

Olivia Rodrigo and Louis Partridge were first linked in October 2023 after being spotted together during Halloween celebrations in London. At the time, sources reported that the two met through mutual friends and quickly grew close, with frequent public outings and affectionate appearances drawing attention from fans and media alike. The couple continued to fuel dating speculation throughout the following months before eventually making their red-carpet debut at the Venice Film Festival in August 2024, where they attended the premiere of Partridge’s film, Disclaimer.

Louis Partridge then suggested that the two were keeping their romance lowkey. In an interview given this September to promote a Netflix series, he said the two were “happy” together and talked about being labelled “Mr Olivia Rodrigo.” 

The reported breakup comes after a big year for Rodrigo professionally. The singer headlined some of the most popular music festivals, including Glastonbury and British Summer Time in London, further cementing her global popularity.

Olivia Rodrigo first gained prominence with her 2021 debut single Drivers License a track about heartbreak and young love. Before dating Partridge, Rodrigo was linked to DJ/influencer Zack Bia and producer Adam Faze.
