This year, Lollapalooza India delivered its biggest and most exciting event yet. Music fans, young and old, experienced a night filled with unforgettable moments, from reliving teenage dreams with iconic bands to sharing heartfelt connections with solo artists. Lollapalooza India teamed up with Corona in 2025, making the festival even better. Festival-goers enjoyed cool, refreshing drinks while taking in the amazing views. With the 2025 festival now concluded, let’s look back at five standout moments that made it so special. Read on!

Shawn Mendes Wearing Virat Kohli’s Jersey

One artist truly embraced the local spirit. Shawn Mendes, the popular Canadian singer, surprised everyone by wearing a Virat Kohli cricket jersey. This happened right before the big India versus New Zealand cricket final. He wished the Indian team good luck, showing his support and connecting with the audience on a personal level.

Wave to Earth Surely Made Waves With Unique Sounds

A new sound captured the audience. Wave to Earth, a Korean rock band, made their Indian debut at Lollapalooza. Their soft, guitar-driven songs created an intimate atmosphere and drew the crowd in with their unique style.

Zedd x Indian Musicians

Another moment blended different musical worlds. Zedd, the famous EDM DJ from Germany, did something truly unique. He brought together BC Manju, a master of Konnakol (Indian rhythmic syllables), and Priyasm, a singer with a beautiful voice, along with a choir. They performed a powerful version of his song ‘Shanti’ and created  a fusion of electronic music and Indian sounds.

Green Day Got Millenials Crying (Happy Tears)

The festival’s biggest act created a wave of nostalgia. Green Day, the legendary punk rock band, played their first-ever show in India. They took their fans on a trip down memory lane, performing classic songs like ‘American Idiot’ and ‘Wake Me Up When September Ends.’ They even brought Indian fans on stage. It was a sight to behold.

Louis Tomlinson, known from One Direction, also triggered a wave of nostalgia. He performed old favourites like ‘Drag Me Down’ and ‘Night Changes,’ turning the festival into a giant singalong. His emotional singing connected deeply with the audience and made his debut performance in India extremely special. Just like all of us, even he enjoyed Green Day’s performance after his stage.
