Lokah Chandra: Chapter 1 was one of the most-loved films of 2025. It featured Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen in lead roles and the film was directed by Dominic Arun. Backed by Dulquer Salmaan, the film was the first Malayalam female superhero film. Now, as per the latest buzz, a second part to the film is already underway. Lokah Chapter 2 In Works!
Kalyani Priyadarshan was recently in attendance at an event. The video of which was shared by Rednool. The actor addressed questions around Lokah Chapter 2, and if we would see her return as well. The actor confirmed that Lokah 2 will be returning and the shooting will mostly start in September. She also revealed that the makers are working on the script currently, and further confirmed that she would also be a part of the movie.
There were reports earlier that suggest Dulquer Salmaan could also be a part of the second film. Even actor Tovino Thomas could also join the cast of Lokah 2 as Michael. Nothing much about the project has been confirmed as of now. As per a Pinkvilla report, Lokah Chandra: Chapter 1 is most likely to be released next year around the festival of Onam.

Kalyani Priyadarshan and Naslen received praises for their performance in the film. The actress was honoured with several accolades for this films. For the unversed, Kalyani made her acting debut in 2017 with Hello and she had also received the Filmfare award for Best Female Debut- South.
