Dhurandhar and Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tere Tu Meri are some of the much-anticipated Bollywood films in December 2025. While we keep our fingers crossed for them, this year has not been great for the big-budget Bollywood films. Many massive movies that we had high expectations for have let us down, and this list is dedicated to those films. It includes names like Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, Thamma and Param Sundari, among others. It’s difficult not to agree with this list. Read on!

1. Thamma

Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar, Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s film from the Maddock horror-comedy universe left us frustrated with its boring story, caricaturist characters, and the performances could not save the film too! Thamma had potential as it promised us an interesting world of the Betals, a creature similar to Vampires, but the weak writing was a big disappointment. And of course, the several item numbers.

2. Sunny Sankskari Ki Tulsi Kumari

The film featured Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra and Rohit Saraf, and despite this talented cast, the rom-com was simply bad. Again the lazy writing was the basic problem of the film, and the several songs to fill in the gaps added nothing to make it appealing. The problematic and outdated nature of the story, forced comedy and objectification of female characters left us frustrated.

3. Param Sundari

Stereotypes and a lot of stereotypes! Param Sundari starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor was a poorly researched film on cross-culture romance. There was hardly any chemistry between the lead on-screen couple, the predictable story hardly made sense, and we just couldn’t root for Param and Sundari.

4. Tere Ishk Mein

The recently released Aanand L Rai film starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon glorifies toxic love and how! The film with bizarre plot with angry and self-destructive characters is hard to watch. While the performances are the only good thing about the film, it is still not a recommended one.

5. Son Of Sardaar 2

While the original was still a silly fun watch, Son Of Sardaar 2 was dragged sequel. The forced comedy sequences, familiar storytelling, naive characters, the questionable choreography, and weak plot did not give us an enjoybable time at the movies.

6. Baaghi 4

Well, well, well! The unnecessary amount of violence in this film gave us an headache! The complicated and twisted plot (and not in a good way) was a test of our patience. It featured Tiger Shroff, Sanjay Dutt, Harnaaz Sandhu and Sonam Bajwa in pivotal roles.

7. Housefull 5

The film was s*xist and objectified the female characters throughout. Where was the fun and comedy in Housefull 5? A franchise originally known for that. Housefull 5 made us angry and it was not entertaining at all!
