The Emily In Paris actor took to her social media handle to share the announcement. As per the official announcement, Lily will play Audrey Hepburn in the film that will be based on the making of the romantic comedy Breakfast At Tiffany’s which released in 1971. While the director has not been confirmed as of yet, the script has been written by Dickinson and Alena Smith. The film’s inspired from Sam Wasson’s nonfiction book Fifth Avenue, 5 AM: Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany’s and the Dawn of the Modern Woman. Although it has no title yet.
In the caption, Lily Collins wrote, “It’s with almost 10 years of development and a lifetime of adoration for Audrey that I am finally able to share this.” As per the actor, she feels honoured and excited to be a part of the film.
