Here’s The Reason Why Lee Jong Suk Abruptly Cancelled His Fan Meeting In Manila

Lee Jong Suk’s upcoming fan meet in Manila, Philippines, has been cancelled. The actor announced that his fan meet was abruptly cancelled due to safety concerns amid the ongoing large-scale protests in the country. The fan meeting was scheduled to be held on 30 November, and Jong Suk’s agency, A-Man Project, announced the update on their Instagram. Read on to know more.

Lee Jong Suk’s Manila Fan Meet Gets Cancelled Due To Ongoing Protests

The actor’s company A-Man Project posted an official statement on their Instagram on Monday, which said the 2025 Lee Jong Suk Asia Fanmeeting Tour [With: Just Like This] in Manila, scheduled for Nov. 30 at the Araneta Coliseum, has been cancelled “due to unforeseen circumstances.”

They stated that this decision was made after deliberate consideration, while the safety of fans, the artist and all staff was considered due to a rally scheduled on the same day. A-Man Project also apologised to all fans who were looking forward to the event and asked for their understanding.

Various groups have protested in recent months following the discovery that thousands of flood defence projects across the country are either substandard, incomplete or do not exist.
