Laxman Utekar, who recently directed Chhaava, is all set to direct a biopic on the legendary Lavani and Tamasha artiste, Vithabai Narayangaonkar. The director will team up with Shraddha Kapoor and Randeep Hooda for this one, and they are looking forward to starting this shoot soon. Here’s what we know about it.

It’s been a while since we have seen Shraddha Kapoor on the big screen. But looks like the wait is going to be over soon. The actor will be starring in Laxman Utekar’s next big film, and the actor who has been finalised opposite Shraddha is Randeep Hooda as per an exclusive report by Pinkvilla. The report further suggests that the director is quite excited for this project and the sources close to the makers have also revealed that the shoot will start next month in Mumbai. Furthermore, as per the sources, the makers are very confident about the two versatile actors in the lead role. According to the report, Randeep Hooda will play the love interest of Shraddha Kapoor in the film. They are perfect for what the director has envisioned for the film.
Both the actors have proven their class-apart acting skills in all their films, and we are excited for this collaboration.
On the work front, Shraddha Kapoor was last seen in Stree 2 that released in 2024. She has also lent her voice for Judy Hopps in the animated film Zootopia 2 releasing this month. Randeep Hooda was most recently seen in Sunny Deol’s Jaat.
