Sukkha Arrested By Mumbai Police In Salman Khan House Firing Case
Sukkha, who hails from Rail Kalan village, was apprehended in Sector 29 of Panipat. Authorities have confirmed his involvement in the case concerning the firing outside Khan’s home earlier this year. After his arrest, he is expected to be presented before a court in Navi Mumbai for further proceedings. The firing incident outside Salman Khan’s Bandra residence in April 2024 led to the police uncovering a larger plot aimed at targeting the actor. Investigations have revealed that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang had intentions of harming Khan during his travels to his farmhouse in Panvel, Navi Mumbai. In June, police disclosed that they had foiled a plan by the gang to attack the actor while he was en route to his property.
Salman Khan, who has faced multiple threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, previously stated to the police that he believed the group orchestrated the firing at his Bandra residence to target him and his family. His statement has been included in the charge sheet filed by the Mumbai Police in court. The actor also informed authorities about previous incidents, including two individuals’ attempts to infiltrate his Panvel farmhouse using false identities in January 2024. Other threats over the years include a letter found near his building in 2022 and an email threat from the gang in March 2023.
