Kiran Rao’s directorial Laapata Ladies will be screened at the Supreme Court. This screening has been kept as a part of the celebrations held to mark the 75th year of the Supreme Court’s establishment. Laapata Ladies’ special screening will be attended by the judges, their families and officials of the registry. The official notice for the screening acknowledges Laapata Ladies as a film that promotes gender equality. The screening will take place on August 2 in the Auditorium of the C-block located in the Administrative Building Complex. Even Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao will also be attending the screening and are going to interact with the guests about the film after they are done watching.
Laapata Ladies’ premise was set in a small village. The story revolves around a very peculiar case of the missing bride, and the investigation is carried out by Ravi Kishan’s Kishan.
