It takes a lot for a woman to recover from a divorce amid society’s taunts, let alone her parents. And when you have a whooping amount of followers watching every move, it becomes even harder. During a recent conversation, Kapila’s mom Rita Kapila admitted going to the temple a bit earlier than her usual time to avoid any questions related to her daughter’s divorce.
Kusha Kapila’s Mom On Her Divorce
During a chat on We Are Yuvaa‘s YouTube show, Kusha Kapila and her mom opened up about her recent divorce. Her mom was misty-eyed talking about the incident. Kusha said that the challenges from the past two years made her strong. To This, her mom answered saying people only talk for a while and then they forget. She continued, “There are no negative rumours now, it’s only about how much you are growing and doing good work.”
However, narrating one incident, in the early days following her daughter’s divorce, Rita Kapila admitted going to the temple early to avoid people. She said that she couldn’t bear people housing her about it. But it was the Thank You For Coming actor’s father who encouraged her to go.

After that, an unfortunate encounter with a lady asking about Kusha Kapila’s divorce in the temple got her mother shaking. Post this, her father called and told all relatives not to ask any questions about this, and that lady even apologised. This is so good.
Hounding someone after a part of their life has been over is inhuman. While our society takes pride in helping each other, giving space is sometimes the only help we can do. Kusha Kapila’s father’s maturity and protectiveness is all we need from our family members.
