Content creator and actor Kusha Kapila reacted to one such video posted by a journalist and slammed him for calling her a random celebrity. A very angry Kusha Kapila reacted to a video posted by a journalist and which was about influencers attending the Cannes Film Festival. In this video, the journalist used pictures of Kusha Kapila, Ranveer Allahbadia and Urvashi Rautela with a movie snippet. Kusha Kapila commented under the post and said that the picture was from the year 2023, when she had already received a lot of backlash for attending the film festival. Kusha further wrote that she got her share of criticism in the same year and that she had already pondered over it.
Kusha Kapila further clarified that she attended the screening of the show and had not left the venue by just walking the red carpet. She also spoke about the various ways in which brands and companies sponsor the presence of a celebrity or an influencer at the Cannes Film Festival and firmly stated that the practice was not started by an influencer. Kusha Kapila also wrote that she would accept criticism for not attending the festival as an actor, but was strong against being addressed as a random celebrity. Kusha reminded everyone that she is a creator, and that was her identity.
