Now, his name once again dominated headlines along with Ranveer Allahbadia after he asked the podcast host to stop pretending to be a “nice guy.” Kunal said that as a reply to Ranveer’s latest post, in which he mentioned the Latent controversy that shook the entire nation. What Did Ranveer Allahbadia Post?
Ranveer Allahbadia took to his X handle and shared a tweet stating that it took him a decade to build BeerBiceps and The Ranveer Show to where they were. While mentioning the Latent matter, he penned that in one incident, a large part of it was shaken. When the team looked at him for next steps, he found myself going back to Sant Kabir’s doha, “ धीरे-धीरे रे मना, धीरे सब कुछ होय, माली सींचे सौ घड़ा, ऋतु आए फल होय।” Which is a simple reminder that growth and rebuilding take time.

Kunal Kamra Slams Ranveer Allahbadia
After seeing Ranveer Allahbadia post, Kunal Kamra wrote that 30-plus artists, including him, were summoned by authorities for being on Latent. He added that the entire comedy fraternity took a hit because of how “stupid you are.” Kunal wrote that shows were cancelled, venues were pulled out, judgements were made, and the pathetic shadow of his stupidity still continues to make the lives of comedians hard. He claimed that Ranveer didn’t even care to understand that side. Further, Kunal made a shocking statement, “Stop pretending to be the nice guy you’re not.” He asked the podcast host to take his paycheques, lower his gaze, and “be very ashamed.” Kunal penned that he was “contraceptive for creativity.” He asked Raveer to stop milking the controversy and go back to what he does best, which is being a hurdle for upward social change while fraudcasting and clout-chasing.

For the unversed, when Ranveer appeared on India’s Got Latent, his question for a contestant, “Would he rather watch his parent have s*x every day or join to stop it forever?” garnered a lot of backlash and legal actions.
