In a recent turn of events, Monalisa, the young woman who went viral during the Prayagraj Kumbh Mela in 2025, made a shocking revelation. She said that a film director, Sanoj Mishra, has misbehaved with minor girls in the name of films. She spoke at a press conference in Kochi with her husband, Farman Khan, and said that the two were dealing with threats and growing pressure.

As per reports, the claimed incident happened during the shoot of The Diary of Manipur in Nepal and Dehradun. Monalisa recalled, “Sanoj Mishra is not a good person. He misbehaved with me on the sets several times. He grabbed me. I told my family that Sanoj Mishra had touched me.” She stated that she did try to speak up during that time, but her family did not support her. She had told this to everyone, yet no one stood by her because they said that this was her first film and that they wanted the money.
Monalisa also pointed out his alleged behaviour and claimed a pattern of exploitation. She said that Sanoj Mishra used the names of films to talk to young girls and allegedly molest them by promising them projects in exchange for something else. She alleged that the director did ‘dirty work.’ She said that her family had left her now and urged the government to help her and her husband since they were receiving death threats.

Monalisa said that Mishra had been meddling with her personal life, especially after her marriage to Farman. As per her, he wanted to cause riots and thought of himself as a king who wanted to let the common people fight and die. She claimed that the director wanted terrorism in the whole country. Adding to this, she said that the public was just watching this behaviour against them without doing anything. She also revealed Sanoj’s thought process behind her choosing Farman over him.
