Kunickaa Sadanand has been making headlines after her presence on the Salman Khan-hosted show Bigg Boss 19. Recently, Kumar Sanu’s ex-wife Rita Bhattacharya came forward to talk about her divorce from the singer and his infamous extramarital affair with actress. She made some shocking claims about the problems she had to go through during her pregnancy, too. Read on to know more.
Rita Bhattacharya’s Shocking Claims
Kumar Sanu and Rita Bhattacharya were officially divorced in 1994, but they are parents to three children. Years after the separation, she has now made some shocking claims about the singer, their divorce, and his affair with Kunickaa. During an interview with Film Window, she claimed that she had to undergo torture by Kumar Sanu and his sister. Rita alleged that Kumar Sanu’s behaviour changed towards her after the success of Aashiqui and she was tortured by him during her third pregnancy, so much so that she was not even allowed to leave the house.
Rita Bhattacharya also claimed that she dragged to the court during her pregnancy and that she was left confused with his changed behaviour. During the interview, she also talked about the affair that Kumar Sanu had with Kunickaa and referred to its revelation by the latter on Bigg Boss 19. Rita also stated that she was never in favour of separating with Kumar Sanu as she had two kids too.
She further talked about how the singer enjoyed his life being discussed in public. She revealed that he blocked her and their elder son when Rita requested him bring an end to his rumoured love life on news when their son was getting engaged.
