HUNTR/X And Saja Boys Are Here For World Domination

The song Golden, performed by the fictional girl group HUNTR/X, made history by topping the UK Official Singles Chart. What’s even crazier is that they became the first K-pop track to do so since Psy’s super hit song ‘Gangnam Style’ in 2012. Not just the UK Chart, Golden has also held strong at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks. Now, rumours are also swirling that the song could soon claim the top spot next week.

Meanwhile, Your Idol, performed by Saja Boys, jumped to No. 9 on the Billboard Hot 100. These two songs aren’t alone, as other soundtracks are also making waves on Billboard charts.

Now, let’s talk about the film achieving greater heights. In just five weeks, it gained 106.1 million views on Netflix and overtook Adam Sandler’s animated film Leo. Now, KPop Demon Hunters is the platform’s most-watched original animated film. Many members of popular groups like BTS Jungkook, RM, and others have showered love on the film. K-pop idols like IVE’s Yujin, MAMAMOO’s Solar, and more have covered ‘Golden’.
