Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters continues to break records with its music and the movie. Now, the fictional K-pop group HUNTR/X will perform their hit song ‘Golden’ live at the 98th Oscars on March 15. Real-life singers EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami will handle the vocals on stage. ‘Golden’ is nominated for Best Original Song, while the film competes for Best Animated Feature at the 2026 Oscars. This exciting performance has everyone in a hold!

The movie and song have already won major awards. At the Golden Globes, KPop Demon Hunters took Best Animated Feature. It beat other strong films like Arco, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, Elio, Little Amélie or the Character of Rain, and Zootopia 2. ‘Golden’ also won Best Song there. The track also became the first K-pop song ever to win a Grammy and has garnered more than a billion views.

Not just one song; the album also performed very well worldwide and racked up millions of views and streams across music platforms.

For the unversed, the Netflix film follows three K-pop stars: Rumi, Mira, and Zoey of HUNTR/X. By day, they are famous idols, but at night, they are secret demon hunters who protect their fans from evil supernatural forces. The story gets more exciting when they battle a rival boy band who are actually demons pretending to be humans. The movie is a great mix of amazing songs, action, and Korean culture; it became Netflix’s most popular animated film ever.
