And now talking about it was renowned actor Kim Tae-hee in an exclusive interview with Hauterrfly. Read on to know all about it!

Kim Tae-hee Reflects On South Korean Entertainment’s Global Rise

Q. You’ve had a long and celebrated career. What do you consider to be the biggest change you’ve witnessed in the South Korean entertainment industry over the years?

A. “I definitely feel how viewers really love so many Korean projects that are coming out nowadays and I really hope that that work keeps moving forward in terms of working on having a variety of genres in Korean projects and I’m proud as a Korean and as an actor as well. And for me, I hope to also be involved in these projects and to work on roles that really excite me and really pique my interest.”

Kim Tae-hee was recently seen in Amazon Prime Video’s Butterfly alongside Daniel Dae Kim. During our exclusive interview, she also shared a memorable behind-the-scenes moment from the series. Kim Tae-hee stated that her character feels caught in the middle, navigating the awkward tension and complex family dynamics. She further added that the scene offers a realistic portrayal of in-law relationships. While Butterfly leans toward a darker, more serious tone, Kim Tae-hee found this moment of light-hearted comedy refreshing to perform and hopes viewers will enjoy it as well.

For the unversed, she made her debut in the 2001 melodrama Last Present.
