Following the criticism, On October 10, he reacted to the incident on a messaging platform. The actor said he felt super nervous, so the ball flew out of his hand. He took full blame and noted that he should have thrown it gently and from closer to keep the kid safe. His words showed deep regret, and he promised to say sorry in person if he could.
His agency, Gold Medallist, took action too. They began working with SSG Landers workers to find the child’s family information. The actor wants their phone details and is willing to write a note to apologise.
However, some users shared a different opinion. One said, “Why position a child near the line of fire where a non-professional is expected to pitch from a distance?”
