On the latest episode of Koffee With Karan 8, actresses Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday marked their presence on the famous couch. Their candid conversations about beauty, fashion and their current relationships, had us digging for more and unveiled a lot of secrets. Speaking about the pressure of being a “star” in today’s generation, Ananya spilt her thoughts and expressed feeling “empty.”
When asked by Karan Johar, if they struggle with the pressure of always looking good, Panday said–”Sadly, we’ve done this to ourselves. We’ve bought into this game so much. I mean, we’re the ones who take pictures before leaving, and we give other people so much importance, or maybe put it out there for them to judge us.” Panday mentioned the importance of snapping out of it. She also confessed giving too much importance to her looks, to the point that she now feels “empty.”

She also explained how she consciously is trying to be the person, she was before becoming an actor, discovering more about herself. Panday said–”I think I got too lost in the idea of how you gotta look a certain way or pose for the paps. I feel I can’t do it anymore.”
