KING Teaser: Shah Rukh Khan Channels Ruthless Energy In Action-Packed First Look!

The film is set to hit theatres in 2026.

After months of anticipation, director Sidharth Anand has finally unveiled the teaser for Shah Rukh Khan’s upcoming film KING. Released on the day of the legendary actor’s birthday, KING’s title teaser is every bit iconic, just like SRK himself. The film, which is set to release next year, has grabbed the audience’s attention with its minute-long teaser starring Shah Rukh Khan as the ruthless king in its first look. Read on to know more.

Shah Rukh Khan’s KING Drops First Teaser

The teaser for Shah Rukh Khan’s KING opens with an eerie tone as a gunshot goes off. You hear Shah Rukh’s chilling voice over in the background asking, “Kitne khoone kiye hai (How many people did I kill)”. The teaser then transitions to full-blown action sequences that are both menacing and cinematically stunning. 

Shah Rukh Khan flicks a bloody king of hearts in his hand as the title card flashes on the screen. The actor embodies his violent side as he looks ravishing yet daunting in silver hair and a piercing stare. The KING teaser then promises to deliver a new Shah Rukh Khan experience as it transitions to a sequence of the actor looking effortlessly cool with music composed by Anirudh Ravichandran playing in the background. 

In the first look, the movie appears to be ruthless but entertaining. With bloody action sequences and SRK’s undeniable aura, viewers are definitely in for a ride. 

 Sidharth Anand’s KING additionally features a star-studded cast including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, Anil Kapoor and Suhana Khan. The film, produced by  Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures, is set to release in 2026.

Shah Rukh Khan’s last film Jawan performed exceptionally well, and the actor even won the National Film Award for it. Thus, expectations from the film as extremely high as fans only expect the best from the king of Bollywood himself.
