Kim Soo Hyun Fights For Justice, Seeks Forensic Help Against Garo Sero’s Alleged Evidence
Kim Soo Hyun's legal team has now turned to South Korea’s National Forensic Service to verify Garo Sero's evidence.

The legal battle between actor Kim Soo Hyun and the family of the late Kim Sae Ron intensifies with accusations of tampered evidence. Recently, a cosmetics company seized the It’s Okay To Not Be Okay actor’s luxury apartment in Seoul after suing him for losses. The company used evidence from Garo Sero, which the Queen of Tears actor’s lawyers claim is fake. His legal team has now turned to South Korea’s National Forensic Service to check whether the files are authentic or not.
The conflict began when Garo Sero released alleged evidence about Kim Soo Hyun’s love life. This led advertisers to abandon contracts. The It’s Okay To Not Be Okay actor’s lawyers stated that the evidence was created to tarnish his image. They are banking on the National Forensic Service’s findings to prove their case.
More On Kim Soo Hyun’s Apartment Seizure
The seized apartment is one of three units Kim Soo Hyun purchased in 2013 in Seoul. The cosmetics company targeted this property as the Queen of Tears actor owed ₩3.00 billion KRW, which is about $2.19 million USD, for contract breaches caused by his dating scandal with late actor Kim Sae Ron. They claimed that due to the controversy, their brand’s image was damaged. The court sided with the company, which led to the seizure of Kim Soo Hyun’s apartment.
Kim Se Ui’s Properties Taken Over
Earlier, the It’s Okay to Not Be Okay actor’s legal team took bold steps. They obtained a court order to seize two properties owned by the head of the Garo Sero Research Institute. These include apartments valued at roughly ₩11.0 billion KRW, or $8.07 million USD. The team also moved to freeze Kim Se Ui’s corporate bank account in order to add pressure on the institute.
