Kim Soo Hyun Fans Create Online Platform To Address Allegations And Case Updates
Their actions have attracted mixed reactions from netizens.
Popular Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun got embroiled in a massive controversy when he was accused of dating late actress Kim Sae Ron while she was a minor. Sae Ron’s family and the actor have been involved in a messy legal dispute ever since the claims came out. Now, as a show of support, dedicated fans of Soo Hyun have launched a fact-checking website for the actor. Read on to know more.
Kim Soo Hyun’s Fandom Launches Website To Defend Actor
In the middle of Kim Soo Hyun’s ongoing legal case with Kim Sae Ron’s family, the actor’s fans have come together to launch a fact-checking website about the issue. Titled “Kim Soo Hyun Korea & Global Fan Union,” the site includes an overview of the controversy, summarises the issue and also has updates on the legal proceedings of the case. The website was launched last month. 
The fandom has attracted a lot of attention online due to their unique way of supporting Soo Hyun. Reaction to this move has been mixed. With some praising their dedication, others criticising the fans for supporting an actor who has had so severe allegations made against him.
This is, however, not the first time the actor’s fandom has collectively attempted to show support to the actor. A few months back, Kim Soo Hyun’s fans filed mass complaints against netizens who were criticising him. Fans in Europe and Asia also organised billboard ads of the actor, defending him.

Amid the ongoing controversy, both parties, i.e. Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron’s family, have levelled serious accusations against each other. He has been accused of dating Sae Ron when she was a minor, and he was an adult. The actor’s side has also repeatedly denied the claims and has tried to refute all evidence provided by the late actress’s family.
