Kim Sae Ron’s Family Slams Kim Soo Hyun After Their Joint Episode Gets Cancelled
On December 1, Kim Sae Ron family’s lawyer, Bu Ji Seok, spoke out. He said the Queen of Tears actor’s lawyer keeps changing what they say and now calls the family liars. The family feels the TV show was unfair because SBS asked them for an interview on November 8, but Kim Soo Hyun had already done his interview earlier. The show was almost finished and was supposed to air on November 14.
Even though the police told the family not to talk to the media, they still agreed to speak on November 10. They gave the show photos and messages that they say prove the relationship started when the late actor was a minor. They only wanted the program to be fair to both sides. Two days before the air date, SBS called and said the episode was cancelled.
The family says Kim Soo Hyun’s lawyer scared them by talking about lawsuits, criminal charges, and even jail if the story came out. The Queen of Tears actor’s lawyer answered that they only asked everyone to be careful so no one gets hurt more or breaks more laws. They never tried to stop the show and said that they were okay with it airing if their side of the story was told properly.

Finally, SBS made a short statement. They looked into the case carefully, but in the end they chose not to show anything. They said both sides have good points, and putting such a private and painful matter on television would not help anyone.
