To honour her memory, her final film, Guitar Man, is set to release soon. On May 21, the movie premiered at Lotte Cinema World Tower in Seoul. As per Tvreport, in Guitar Man, Kim Sae Ron’s words hit hard. Lines like “Life isn’t easy”, “Remember me”, and “I want to let it all go” feel heavier now. They touched viewers deeply. Directed by Lee Sun-jung and Kim Jong-myeon, the film follows a gifted guitarist chasing hope through music despite life’s struggles. Kim Sae Ron plays a keyboardist, bringing her signature depth to the role.
At a press conference, director Lee Sun-jung spoke warmly about Kim Sae Ron. He called her a sincere actress with a natural gift for performing. “She was born to act,” he said. He believed she had a bright future. He also shared that she faced personal challenges during filming. Between takes, she often stayed in her car. But when the cameras rolled, she became someone else entirely. Her performance was flawless, full of heart and intensity. Guitar Man will hit theatres on May 30.
