Khushi Kapoor Admits Being Made Fun Of Because She Didn’t Look Like Her Mother Or Sister. That’s Unfair!
Khushi Kapoor has previously admitted that getting cosmetic enhancements wasn't a big deal for her.

It’s 2025, and some people out there still feel it’s okay to body-shame someone on the internet. What they don’t understand is how deeply can casual shaming affect someone. In a recent conversation, Loveyapaa star Khushi Kapoor opened up about the vicious trolling she had received for her looks and how it had affected her self-esteem. She also spoke on the use of skincare and fillers.
Khushi Kapoor Opens Up On Trolling
During a recent interview with SCREEN, Khushi Kapoor opened up about how being judged about her looks from a young age affected her. She revealed how everyone made fun of her looks because she didn’t look like her mother Sridevi or sister Janhvi Kapoor. ” I took a keen interest in vanity and to look a certain way and I don’t think that it is a bad thing, especially when I know these are the things people are pointing out,” Kapoor said.

She pointed out how skincare and fillers are things people should be scrutinised for. Khushi, like many other young performers of her generation, has faced criticism for allegedly using cosmetic procedures and fillers, something she has previously admitted to. She said that it was important for her to do this as people judged her for looking a certain way and the same when she changed how she looked.

This step was so brave of Khushi Kapoor because this admission was fresh and gave young girls hope. Talking about being body-shamed is hard for any person to admit as it brings unnecessary attention but her doing it was a good sign. We wish more influential people come forward to speak about such issues so ordinary people can voice their opinions too.
