Khushi Kapoor, daughter of the late Sridevi, has once again sparked conversations about cosmetic procedures. In a new interview with Curly Tales, she expressed that she doesn’t see plastic surgery as a big deal and even finds the word plastic to be a positive term rather than an insult. This comes after she openly admitted to undergoing a nose job and lip fillers last year, a rare move in an industry where many choose to stay silent about such enhancements.
Khushi Kapoor On Cosmetic Surgeries
Khushi Kapoor’s latest remarks came during an upcoming video interview with Curly Tales, a preview of which was shared on Instagram. In the clip, she is seen talking about various aspects of her life, including her childhood and home. One particular moment showed her pointing out a barricaded swimming pool, explaining that it was necessary because of her five dogs, who love jumping into the water whenever they get the chance.
Reflecting on her younger days, Khushi described herself as someone who always wanted to be the center of attention. She admitted that she enjoyed being noticed, which was something that shaped her personality over the years. When the conversation turned to cosmetic enhancements, she maintained that undergoing such procedures shouldn’t be a big deal. She also addressed the term plastic, saying that while many people use it as an insult, she doesn’t see it that way at all.
Even before entering the film industry, Khushi felt that people had already formed opinions about her. She noted that many of these assumptions were negative, and she had to navigate through them while carving her own path in Bollywood. In August last year, she responded to a social media comment about her transformation over the years. A user had remarked that she looked largely the same as she did in childhood, aside from weight loss. Another user pointed out that she had braces as a child and had since undergone lip fillers. In response, Khushi candidly acknowledged both the lip fillers and her nose job, keeping her tone light and humorous.
